LTCスペース企画展、2025年秋に向かう第５弾は、このギャラリーを始めるきっかけとなった 「北斎漫画1000バッジ展 ～すみだが生んだ世界の画人～」 の葛飾北斎265回目の誕生日（9月23日）を厳かにお祝いする展示会です。
早いもので、LTCスペースもスタートしてから丸５年の時間が経とうとしています。思い返しますとはじまりの2020年はコロナ禍が影を落とし、不安でいっぱいの暗澹たる時間の始まりの年でした。
そんな中、北斎の260回目の誕生日であった9月23日から、翌年2021年の同日への１年をかけて「北斎漫画の1000個の缶バッジを製作して展示していく」というプロジェクトをここで始めました。
あれから時は流れ、今年はまた５年区切りの切りの良い数字の年となりました。
生誕265年。 LTCスペース５周年。
そこで何か記念になることを！と思い立ち、ひとつの肖像をモチーフにしたフィギュア（スタチュー）を作ってみることになりました。
約３か月の制作期間を経て、何とかこの9月23日の誕生日に間に合って北斎立像をお披露目できることとなりました。
265回目のめでたき日を、厳かにこの会でお祝いする事にしたいと思います。

LTC Space's fifth project, heading into the fall of 2025, will be a solemn celebration of the 265th birthday (September 23rd) of the "Hokusai Manga 1000 Badge Exhibition: Katsushika Hokusai, the World-renowned Artist Born in Sumida," which was the catalyst for starting the gallery.
It's hard to believe that five years have passed since LTC Space opened. Looking back, 2020 was the beginning of a gloomy time, overshadowed by the COVID-19 pandemic and filled with anxiety. Amidst all this, we embarked on a project to "produce and exhibit 1000 Hokusai Manga badges" over the course of a year, from September 23rd, Hokusai's birthday, to the same date in 2021. Time has passed since then, and this year marks another year with a nice five-year division. 265 years since his birth. 5th anniversary of LTC Space. So, we thought we'd create something commemorative! So, we decided to create a figure (statue) based on a portrait. We are currently working on this project for about three months, with the aim of unveiling the actual work on his birthday, September 23rd. We hope to be able to solemnly celebrate his 265th anniversary there. If you are in the area, please stop by to take a look at this three-dimensional Hokusai.
